The Beachcomber Pouch is another fantastic pattern in the Beachcomber Collection! It’s super useful for storing craft supplies, pencils, electronic cords and is perfectly sized! As a fun bonus, I added a FREE Add-On for omitting the gusset and using a boxed bottom.

This pattern is for the Advanced Beginner Sewist. You'll need to be able to sew a zipper and be open to trying a few new techniques. This pattern may become very addictive … my testers ended up sewing several during testing (as did I)!

This pattern includes:

• ALL / FULL Sized Pattern pieces

• Cutting List (to use instead of the included rectangular pattern pieces - to save the trees!)

• Colorful and clear diagrams for most steps

• Small Notes section on every couple of pages

• An A1 copy-shop file

• Layers to conveniently print pieces for interfacing only

• Labels to keep track of your cut pieces

BEACHCOMBER POUCH FINISHED DIMENSIONS: 7"W x 6 1/2"H x 3 1/2"D

RECOMMENDED FABRICS: I recommend using quilting cotton but if other materials are used such as cork or vinyl, I suggest not using woven interfacing on those pieces.

FABRIC & WOVEN INTERFACING REQUIREMENTS: (measurements are approximate and don’t account for directional and/or fussy cutting)

• FABRIC 1: 1/4 yard

• FABRIC 2: 1/4 yard

• FABRIC 3: 1/4 yard

• WOVEN INTERFACING (20" wide): 1 yard

HARDWARE & SUPPLY REQUIREMENTS:

• (1) - 14" #5 zipper or 14" #5 continuous zipper tape and 1 zipper pull

• (1) - 1/2" D-ring (optional for wristlet strap)

• (1) - 1/2" Swivel clip (optional for wristlet strap)

RECOMMENDED HARDWARE & SUPPLIES:

• Glue stick

• Pencil or similar marking utensil
