Isn’t the Saltwater Pouch the cutest?! This pouch is the perfect companion to the Saltwater Shoulder Bag or just on it’s own! It holds so much for being such a petite little cutie! It can be made from various fabric mediums such as more pliable faux leathers, vinyl, cork fabric or quilting cotton.

This PDF pattern includes:

 • FULL Sized Pattern pieces

 • a Cutting List (to use instead of the included rectangular pattern pieces - to save the trees!)

 • colorful and clear diagrams for most steps

 • an A2 copy-shop file

 • Labels to keep track of your cut pieces

This pattern is for the Ambitious Beginner Sewist. You'll need to know how to install zippers and be open to using bias binding - trust me it’s not as hard as you think and is very forgiving on the inside of the pouch. You’ll need to choose your materials appropriately.

SALTWATER POUCH FINISHED DIMENSIONS: 7"W x 5"H x 3 1/4"D

RECOMMENDED FABRICS: 

 • EXTERIOR: thin pliable vinyl/faux leather, cork, waxed canvas or waterproof canvas

 • LINING: quilting cotton, linen, or waterproof canvas

 • WOVEN INTERFACING: Pellon SF101 or similar

 • SHAPING INTERFACING for the body of the pouch (this is only necessary if using a thin fabric for the exterior): Decovil Light, Pellon Thermolam Plus or fusible fleece

FABRIC & WOVEN INTERFACING REQUIREMENTS: (measurements are approximate and don’t account for directional and/or fussy cutting)

 • EXTERIOR: 1/3 yard or fat quarter

 • LINING: 1/3 yard or fat quarter

 • WOVEN INTERFACING (20" wide / 45" wide): 5/8 yard / 1/3 yard

 • SHAPING INTERFACING: 1/2 yard

HARDWARE & SUPPLY REQUIREMENTS:

 • (1) - 12" #5 single or double zipper pull packaged zipper OR 12" of #5 continuous zipper tape and (1 or 2) zipper pulls

RECOMMENDED HARDWARE & SUPPLIES:

• Double sided tape (DST) or Washaway Wonder Tape

• Pencil or fabric-safe marking utensil 

• Wonder clips or similar
