The Beachcomber Pouch is another fantastic pattern in the Beachcomber Collection! It’s super useful for storing craft supplies, pencils, electronic cords and is perfectly sized! As a fun bonus, I added a FREE Add-On for omitting the gusset and using a boxed bottom.

This pattern is for Advanced Beginners. You'll need to be able to sew a zipper and be open to trying a few new techniques. This pattern may become very addictive … my testers ended up sewing several during testing (as did I)! If at any point you need help or just want to have fun in my sewing group ... I have a Facebook group (JOIN HERE) that I'm active in and has very helpful group members.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS - I recommend using quilting cotton but if other materials are used such as cork or vinyl, I suggest not using woven interfacing on those pieces.

Fabric & Woven Interfacing Requirements: (measurements are approximate and don’t account for directional and/or fussy cutting)

Fabric 1 : 1/4 yard

Fabric 2 : 1/4 yard

Fabric 3 : 1/4 yard

Woven Interfacing (20” wide) 1 yard

HARDWARE 

1 - 14” #5/#4.5 zipper or 14” #5/#4.5 continuous zipper tape and 1 zipper pull

1 - ½" D-ring (OPTIONAL for wristlet strap)

1 - ½" Swivel clip (OPTIONAL for wristlet strap)

RECOMMENDED SUPPLY REQUIREMENTS

• School glue stick

• Pencil or similar marking utensil 

• Wonder Clips or similar

• Hole punch (OPTIONAL for wristlet strap)

• Rivets (OPTIONAL for wristlet strap)
